Last week

I started my new summer school classes and I am already 1/3 done. THAT's what I love about summer classes. The class that I think most would find at least more interesting of the two, is BEERS. Yes, I am taking Beer Appreciation. Isn't that beautiful? It is held in a bar, Freakin Frog. I will be trying about 100 beers, so I think definitely I will have a favorite beer (hope it's a cheap one!) and be able to feel posh the next time I drink out of a paper bag.

Saturday night went to see the Gin Blossoms at Suncoast Casino.

We didn't leave early enough for me to stop at the Rampart Casino next door where I could have had a couple pints of cider (maybe beer class will help me find something tastier than hard cider.. imagine that!) So I went into this sober. OI. Sobriety. So when the singer said things like, "I dont know we have performed a lotta shows, but this has got to be out best.." All I could think was "yeah, and the American Idol semi-finalists each got 33% of the vote." Now if I was drunk, I would been screaming back "WOOOO We are the best!" Speaking of the audience, it's a locals casino, so there were lot of slot comp people in there, which is basically the AARP set. So while these people would have preferred to see Perry Como, this show was free for them. But really if the sand was as much out of my hour glass as it was some of these people, I wouldn't be spending it there.
Suzie Pro is here!!!!!! I am so excited, but since I still don't know how to use a wheel, she has remained in the box. I will be unpacking her soon when I have some quiet time.

Note Babette head, Tiffany body.

Here is the final version of my dyed sock yarn that I will be sending to my dye-o-rama buddy. I am really pleased with how they turned out. I can't wait to get dyeing again!

The big thing that is evidently hard to get ahold of is a recipe book (shows what amounts for color combos)

I'm totally jealous of beer class. Is there homework too?
Now, how do I become your dye-o-rama buddy -- love the yarn!!!
So who do we think that you or the ferrets will have more fun with the wheel?
