Need a scarf pattern

I have 2 skeins of this super soft Malabrigo that I plan to turn into a scarf for my very tall non-knitting friend. I just have to come up with a pattern... Nothing too complicated, because it's not like she would appreciate the extra effort being a non-knitter.

If it was more varegated I would do the bi-directional scarf, but it really is more of a solid. The picture doesnt really do justice to the depth of color.

Oh do the my so-called scarf! I just did one and the pattern makes a beautiful texture, almost as if it were woven.

I love that green! Well, I love green in general, but that one is gorgeous!

Yum! It's gorgeous! I'm thinking something with some nice patterning to it would be nice.....or even a "Feather and Fan or "Old Shale" pattern would really show off the yarn....plus it looks pretty fancy without "straining your brain".
